Albany State’s Homecoming WeekHeats Up with a Reveal of UpcomingPerformances

Albany State University is raising the
bar for Homecoming 2025, bringing
unforgettable energy and style to
campus with two major music events.
From soulful R&B music to adrenaline-
pumping hip-hop performances, Rams
are in for a week where tradition
meets entertainment at its finest.

The celebrations kick off on Tuesday, October 14th at 7–11
p.m. with R&B Unplugged, a special event open only to
students to kick off Homecoming Week. Taking place in
Student Center West C266, this cozy concert will see guests
enjoy performances by Jacquees, the "King of R&B,
" who
will perform his top charting hits that fans sing word for
word.
Opening the night are soulful sets by Tyler Watts and the
G&S Experience, backed by a live band that promises to
make the evening unforgettable. . The theme of the event—
Classy, Grown & Chic invites Rams to dress up and present
their best selves with a concert experience that will be out
of the ordinary.
Admission tickets are also available for $15 (plus fees) just
for ASU students, and RAM IDs must be shown to enter.
With no re-entry and the clear bag policy, students are
encouraged to arrive early once doors open at 6 p.m. to
secure a spot for the best Homecoming experience.

On Saturday, October 18th at 5 p.m., at the Lower
East Campus near Orene Hall will be transformed
into a festival-style platform for a show of hip-hop
talent.
The stage features an excellent blend of emerging
stars and legends like Akeem Ali, Dusei, Mykko, Clay
James, Young Dro, Raq Baby, and Crime Mob.
From "Knuck If You Buck" to fresh hits trending on all
streaming platforms, the night holds nostalgia and
fresh vibes for the Ram Fam to dance, socialize, and
celebrate the revelry of ASU Homecoming together.
